When recently collecting for recycling the many postcards I have received over the years, I put a metal paperweight on top of the pile. My brain then registered a coincidence. There it was: the city feminine, the space masculine, and the boat of indeterminate gender. And as for the paperweight: a feminine figure in front, a masculine overall figure resembled – for me – the face of Freud.
